Training Programs
Board and train
Many of the dogs we work with benefit from starting with our board and train program. We get a jump start on helping your pup succeed while they spend a week with us. When you pick them up, you receive a free private lesson so you can learn to work with them at home. After that first week, if you'd like them to go back to "Burrell Bootcamp", your pup is always welcome for more b+t. Many families let their pups stay with us while they go on vacation, to polish their training!
In an effort to maximize the impact of this program, we're only booking five dogs a month. Reach out now if you're interested, and if the month is full we'll add you to our waiting list and discuss other training options in the meantime.
Classes
We currently teach weekly drop-in classes for conformation handling and rally. For those looking for a class to improve basic manners in their dog, rally is what we would recommend. It's very similar to obedience, but a bit more beginner friendly.
We also offer 6 week courses on a variety of topics based on interest. Previously we've done courses on increasing strength and flexibility, finding and managing muscle and joint pain, reducing stress, preparing for cgc tests, preparing for trick dog tests, agility, basic puppy manners, and more. These courses need 4-6 students to run, so if you're interested, let us know. If you'd like a course or a private lesson on a different topic, odds are either we can help you or know someone who can.

Private/SEMIPRIVATE lessons
During our private lessons, you'll spend about an hour one on one with us, working on the issues you and your dog are overcoming. When we train, we aim for 90% play and 10% work, and short frequent sessions to keep dogs from feeling overworked and shutting down. During a private lesson, we'll vary what we're working on/asking the dog to do, so it doesn't become overwhelming.
Semiprivates are another fun way to train with your friends. Two to three people and their pups can book a session together. We can target individual issues, teach you the basics to a new sport, do an in-depth conformation evaluation, teach you about the details of shows, or anything else you'd find helpful. Semiprivates are also cheaper, as you're splitting the cost of a private lesson between you, so it's a budget friendly option.
